Whether by car or by plane, by boat or by train, traveling always involves lots of sitting and waiting. To alleviate some of the inevitable boredom, We came up with a novel way to convert your travel time into HBO time called Pack Your HBO.
Visitors to packyourhbo.com used a slider to adjust the duration of their travel. Pack Your HBO then displayed a suggested playlist from its slate of popular shows, which can be customized by genre (dramatic, hilarious, sexy, historical), or show title, including hits such as The Wire, Entourage, The Sopranos, Sex and the City, and The Pacific.
I oversaw the User Experience and Visual Design and Technology Development of the project.The campaign ran during the 2011 Holiday Season and boosted HBO iTunes downloads by 50%. Recognition: Cannes Lions (2012 Shortlist), AICP Next Awards Winner, Creativity Magazine.
